Who Are We?

Maronite Youth Organization (MYO)

The Maronite Youth Organization (MYO), founded by the National Apostolate of Maronites (NAM) in the 1960s, is dedicated to uniting Maronite youth within their local parishes and across different regions and states. Our vibrant community welcomes young people ages 12 to 18, guiding them to follow Jesus Christ, grow in holiness and joy, and live out their faith deeply rooted in the Maronite Eastern Catholic tradition.
MYO is a safe and sacred space where youth are invited to grow in faith, friendship, and purpose. Through meaningful events, spiritual formation, and community-building activities, MYO helps shape faithful and committed young men and women who are called to be future leaders in the Church, society, and their families. We need to keep reminding our leaders that The Maronite Youth Organization (MYO) is neither a social club nor a catechism class.

Faith Community

Our mission is to bring youth to Christ by living and promoting our Maronite Catholic faith, fostering the salvation of souls through prayer, the Holy Mysteries, and discipleship, celebrating and preserving our Maronite traditions, spirituality, and cultural heritage, and building a strong community of faith, friendship, and family among our youth.

Our Vision: Empowering Youth to Lead with Faith, Service, and Love

⇒ Growing a vibrant, united MYO family across the Eparchy.

⇒ Strengthening communication and collaboration among all MYO chapters.

⇒ Equipping youth leaders with the tools and skills to serve effectively.

⇒ Expanding our reach by establishing MYO chapters in communities currently without one.

⇒ Building a future where every Maronite youth feels seen, supported, and sent on mission.

Our Team

The MYO Eparchial Board is a ministry of volunteers from across regions who support local parish MYO groups within the Eparchy of Our Lady of Lebanon (OLOL). The Board provides guidance, resources, and organizes regional retreats to strengthen parish youth communities.
